Our mission is to provide you with the tools, hand-sorted tiles, and step-by-step guidance needed to transform simple fragments into lasting works of beauty.

From a studio to your home, we curate an experience where artistry meets mindfulness. Whether you are piecing together a kit or joining us for a workshop, we invite you to find joy in the process of creating something entirely your own, one piece at a time.

Crafted with Purpose

Hi, I’m Beth—owner of Coastal Ceramics.

My days are a balance of part-time work as a paramedic and raising my two children, with creativity woven through it all.

I’ve loved arts and crafts for as long as I can remember, exploring everything from acrylic painting and watercolours to printing and embroidery.

In recent years, I’ve found myself drawn to mosaics, inspired by a mirror I created back in high school many years ago. There’s something deeply meaningful about building something beautiful from small, broken fragments—reflecting the idea that imperfections can come together to create something truly unique.

Mosaics themselves have a rich and enduring history, dating back 3,000 years to their arrival in Europe from Mesopotamia. Their hard-wearing nature them the name 'eternal pictures'.
